How the Max Weinberg 7 band started-
One early summer in 1993 Max Weinberg and his wife were leaving the Stage Deli on Seventh Avenue in Manhattan when they spotted Conan O'Brien crossing a nearby street. Max's wife finally convinced Max to go and talk to Conan. So Max met Conan and begged for an audition for the new late night show that just recently was put on the air on NBC. So Conan agreed to audition and Max gathered several of his friends and played for him. Instantly Conan was impressed and signed them the same day and told them that's exactly what he was looking for in a band. Below are a list of members of the band and what instruments thy play.
